Door de eeuwen heen is het Catalaanse volk regelmatig onderdrukt. Recentelijk begon de onafhankelijkheidsstrijd opnieuw. Het maakt niet uit of je het met de onafhankelijkheidsstrijd eens bent of niet. Dit project verkent de diversiteit en de menselijke kant van de Catalaanse cultuur. Mijn hoop is dat je samen met mij de cultuur ervaart en verkent en nieuw begrip vindt voor de verschillende soorten mensen die Catalonië verrijken. Laat je leiden door het verhaal van de mensen zelf en hun diverse cultuur. Dit afstudeerproject is mijn documentatie van de Catalaanse cultuur.
De teaser hierboven is een voorproefje. De volledige documentaire komt vrijdag 12 juli online op YouTube.

Catalan people have been subdued to oppression for centuries. Recently they have been fighting for independence once more. It doesn’t really matter if you agree with the independence movement or not. This project is about acknowledging and exploring the diversity and the human side of the Catalan culture. My hope is that you explore with me and find a new understanding for the different kinds of people that enrich Catalonia. Let them guide you through their story and enjoy the richness of their culture. This is my documentation of Catalan culture.
